Boxer and Clover

Based out of Orlando, Florida, Boxer & Clover was formed with the goal to produce unique yet familiar music that could be catered to the masses. Conceived in early 2009, the pop-rock/alternative quartet set out to take the local music scene by storm.

With a handful of shows and a healthy repertoire of songs under their belt, Boxer & Clover booked studio time with Rise Records' A&R Cameron Mizell. Mizell, a respected producer/engineer, is known for his work with Oceana, Between the Trees, Jamie's Elsewhere, Of Machines, and I See Stars. The unique, musical backgrounds of guitarist/vocalist Evan Frank, guitarist Daniel Perry, bassist Brad Dubs, and drummer Gavin Haengel were blended together to create the band's debut EP "What Happens Here." The band officially released "What Happens Here" on July 18th, 2009.

The EP has been receiving positive feedback from the Absolutepunk.net community, Facebook, Myspace, and other social networking sites. Absolutepunk.net's Gregory Robson writes, "if this is just the beginning, the optimist in me thinks they're headed for a huge future."
