Kids are bored in small towns. In the town of Bourbonnais, Illinois, three friends found they could get their kicks by making a lot of noise at the same time. Calling themselves The Nothingheads, after a Kurt Vonnegut short story, these young rapscallions honed their skills and eventually gravitated towards the great city of Chicago. Channeling their influences from indie to oldies, The Nothingheads cartwheel on the balance beam between pop and pandemonium. Marvel at the vocal chords of Michael Martello chirping away without shame as he abuses his poor guitar. Thrill at the inventive bass lines of David Luzeniecki as he bows, buzzes, and kazoos you into oblivion. Keeping you on your toes is the explosive drum work of Chris Sumrall. Think garage rock with a side of melody after scientific experiments have been conducted on it and you've got the right idea. Feel free to proclaim your love for The Nothingheads. They may blush a little, but they promise to love you right back. http://www.myspace.com/thenothingheads |
